What happens when you use the generator
When you click "Find gift ideas", the description and choices you entered are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to generate suggestions. We don't save the text, and we don't ask for names or contact details. Please don't include sensitive personal information about anyone.
To prevent abuse, our server briefly keeps a count of requests per IP address in memory. It is not written to a database.
What is stored in your browser
We use your browser's local storage for two things: your saved ideas and your last generator draft, so they're there when you come back. They never leave your device.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is cookieless and does not build advertising profiles.
Links
"Search it" buttons open a web search in a new tab. We don't use affiliate links or earn commissions.
